Hello again.

Bad news: my good buddy Tiffany (from camp) just found out her mom has cancer.

Sad day.


Anyways, I miss you all dearly.

Well, most of you.


I hope everyone's summers are going according to plan with a few fun surprises along the way. I know mine's been crazy fun hectic exhausting, but incredibly psychotically rewarding.

I FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!



I have some of the greatest friends I think God could ever give me - many of them I've found at camp.

Brief run-down for future reference:

Anna: goes to Luther; one of the greatest, most down-to-earth people I've ever met... amazing person

Cassi: goes to Gustavus; awesome, sweet girl... been through more than most of us ever will, but she's perhaps the strongest person I've ever met

Steffi: goes somewhere in Iowa; amazing girl, she dances, and I love her love for what we do. We've definitely had fun times (especially at Anna's wedding!!)

Tiffany: goes to Carthage; she rocks my face off, and I'm praying for her like no tomorrow

Kat: goes to UMD; we did lifeguard training together, and she works her butt off, that's for sure

Michelle (aka Meesh): went to Valpo; incredibly intelligent - she was born and raised in Kenya... Most unique view of the world I've ever seen

Jesse: went somewhere; he's old - he makes me feel good!

Sten: goes somewhere in NC; nice kid - first one I met

And then there's my buddy Jen: my most bestest friend ever ever ever in the whole world... I can't believe she and I are as close as we are, especially after such a short amount of time, but I think we were meant to find each other. We seem to have this ironclad, written-in-stone connection that I've been dreaming of all of my life, but NEVER found. That is, until I met Jen. She's AWESOME, so if you meet her, you will understand. She's getting married to this awesome guy named Greg on September 4th - and I've never been so sure of anything in my life when I watch them just BE together. Anyway, our relationship is indescribable; I could never doubt what we share, because I know she's feeling the exact same thing. Best friend. I found one. Ha. Yeah, and she's amazing!


Camp is absolutely amazing. I love it there more than anywhere else in the world ever - it is the most beautiful place, and it's so rejuvenating... I've never felt at peace for this long ever.


I wish you guys could feel it. It's incredible.




PS - I re-found one of the counselors that I used to keep in touch with at camp when I was a kid... Her name is Kaia, and she rocks my face off! I'd forgotten how much I'd missed her. We email.


Me and Katie are going to go PURCHASE the 6th Harry Potter at midnight this evening at Borders. SO EXCITED!
